About this offering¶

Adaptive Learner is an open-source learning application under the MIT licence. Using it is free of charge; nothing is sold through these pages. The offering contains book recommendations with links to Amazon, among them the operator's own titles (self-promotion), and voluntary donation options via Liberapay, Ko-fi and GitHub Sponsors.

Liability for content¶

The content of these pages and of the app has been created with great care. The operator nevertheless gives no guarantee for the accuracy, completeness or currency of the content. Learning content (lesson sets) comes from content repositories that users connect themselves; the respective author is responsible for it.

Liability for links¶

The app and these pages contain links to external third-party websites over whose content the operator has no influence. The respective provider or operator of those pages is always responsible for their content. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; a permanent review of their content is not reasonable without concrete indications of a violation. Such links will be removed promptly once a violation becomes known.

The source code of Adaptive Learner is released under the MIT licence. Learning content carries the licence of its content repository, stated in the set's manifest. Third-party trademarks and logos (for example GitHub, YouTube, Amazon) belong to their respective owners.

Consumer dispute resolution¶

The operator is neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Section 36 VSBG).
